The time has almost come for the Car Jam. We will let you know what kind of car we will be using this year, so you can strategize how to stuff everyone into the car. This is the last event of Derby Days and could possibly determine the winner. Next week, we will give out times for each sorority in 15-20 minute intervals.

Buy a spot for Joshua Tree ($10) and you will be put on a list, we rented out the basement. Capacity is 130, so we will sell spots until they fill up. Have to be 21 or have a good fake ID.

Come out from 10 AM to 5 PM for the Dunk Tank. Dunk the brothers of Sigma Chi and maybe even some of your sisters too!!!

Go and stop by T Anthony’s on Wednesday night and grab a bite to eat. We will be getting 10% of proceeds from T Anthony’s. Ask them for a receipt at the counter and give it to us and let us know which sorority you are in. We will be at the restaurant throughout the event. They prefer cash, so if you can pay cash we would really appreciate it.

The Derby Queen Competition will be on Tuesday, April 13th at 6:30PM in Morse Auditorium. The competition will consist of two preliminary events:

1. Group performance with your sorority and your coaches that incorporates the Kentucky Derby Theme so be creative (LipSync with Southern music, Cowgirl Square Dancing etc.). There will be microphones...

Each sorority will design their own mural incorporating Sigma Chi, your own sorority and the Kentucky Derby Theme. We will supply each sorority with a Mural Board and some paint. Bring anything else you want to decorate the mural.

Presentation by the highly knowledgeable employees from Tealuxe tea house on Newbury st. about regional teas of the world. Workshop will include preparation, serving techniques and history of teas. Assorted teas will be served to aid in the process of understanding the distinct traits of these various teas.
