If he had gone to Hogwarts for his 7th year, he would have started on September 1st, 1997.
That means he defeated Voldemort in 1998.

Harry will be there... will you?

Albus Severus Potter's first year at Hogwarts. And Rose Weasley, and Scorpius Malfoy's first year as well. And their families will be at King's Cross. Which means a bunch of wizards and witches you have to meet.
(and with some luck you might catch a glimpse of Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley...

Per the epilogue of book 7, the Potters, Weasleys, Malfoys, and others will be at King's Cross station on Sep 1, 2017 at 11:00, to see their children off to Hogwarts. You do NOT actually have to go to London, but if you wish you could be there, RSVP yes. Be sure to invite your friends to make this the best farewell to Harry Potter possible!
