This evening is all about you and using your expertise in a team to solve a business problem presented by the charity of the evening. We’ve still not confirmed a charity, so if there is one in particular you would like us to consider, your input is appreciated.
The LOKBP is pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Fuck Cancer for our next Vancouver event - Socializing for the Social Good - April 29, 2010. What started as a t-shirt campaign has snowballed into a revolution to speak up and out against cancer. We are taking a different approach for this event - a collaborative and collective gathering of the West Coasts best and brightest to help solve a business problem facing the charity. Join us and let's take an stand against cancer.
Participants will be divided into unique and diverse teams, so that you have a chance to meet and collaborate with others. The charity will present the teams with a real life business problem they have encountered and the teams will then have 30 minutes to come up with their best creative solution. A representative from each team will have 2 minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of experts.
The winning team will win a great prize and the knowledge of knowing that their idea will be put to great use.
