Before considering if you can make it to this weeks game night, please consider the following questions:
Are you awesome?
Do you want to be a Hero?
Do you want to miss the best game night ever?
This week may just be the best night ever and it's for a great cause!
The theme is HEROES in support of Betsy's Red Cross campaign to raise $1,000 before April 27th. She's well on her way with $280 raised, but she still needs your help ASAP!
Think of it this way: if the regular game night crowd just donated what the night would cost them in drinks, food, and entertainment, Betsy would be halfway to her goal. That's not even taking into account the over 3 years of game nights or the collection of games that are available.
A little donation when we pass the hat seems like a pretty good deal, huh?
How about we sweeten the pot? Betsy is taking Monday and Tuesday off to bake awesome goodies to be sold off bake sale style. If that doesn't define epic heroism, I don't know what does. (Well, except maybe the flowing Upland beer taps we'll have going at SproutBox)
We'll have some awesome heroic themed games on hand, like:
Super Munchkin
HeroScape
Shadows Over Camelot
Pandemic
Plus a game of Formula D and a pimp selection from the game closet.
Even if you're not a big game player, stop by for a cookie and to show your support for Betsy and the Red Cross.
It will be Epic Win. Do not miss.
PS. If you can't make it, I have some good news for you! You can still be cool! Visit
