Purpose: Allow students to sell some of their things before moving out and buy items for cheaper!
Minimize the amount of good/usable items that are being thrown in dumpsters
Improve relationship between USC students and members of the University Park community
Description: a yard sale/block party for USC students and community members, with three main components:
Garage Sale: students and community members can sell items in a garage sale-manner for FREE. A transportation service will be provided one way to bring students’ items from they’re house to the location of the sale
Donations: an area will be available for students to donate their things without having to sit and sell them. Items will be donated to a local community organization
Block party: to encourage student-community relations, a variety of events, booths, etc will be available, along with music, bounce house for kids, etc.
