DJ Kemit presents Spread Love returns with the highly anticipated dance event that pairs Atlanta’s Grammy-nominated turntablist and producer, DJ Kemit, and NYC-native and now, ATL's Latin Soul Brotha Numba ONE "El Maduro Caco-Duro" DJ Mafioso. This supremely talented duo will burn-up the turntables with Latin, Afro-Latin, African, and Caribbean sounds all night. This now annual “AfroLatin” edition of Spread Love aka Rendir Amor, forges a bridge within our international community of brotherhood/sisterhood and makes the connection between our African roots and the musical traditions that have been maintained by the people of the African/Caribbean/Latin American Diaspora.

You know those performances or events that you were not fully aware of until you hear about it through a friend, or read about it through a write up or review? You know the ones you wish you would have experienced in person. The ones you count the days until their next performance or return? Well this, my friends, would definitely be that event.
Grammy-nominated producer and turntablist, DJ Kemit presents a brilliant monthly event entitled “Spread Love.” Last summer DJ Kemit and guest DJ Mafioso gave the city of Atlanta a beautiful tribute to the Fania Allstars. And with the untimely passing of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, Mafioso and Kemit did an innovative mash up of MJ’s hits with salsa and samba classics. The event was a true celebration of life and the gift of soulful music.
On April 24, DJ Kemit and Mafioso are joining forces once again to present SPREAD LOVE ~ RENDIR AMOR. And this time around, they will expand the live percussion section, with a free dance lesson to start the night. If you happen to have other plans on Saturday, April 24, then you should definitely cancel them. This is a night that you will wish you would have been a part of. If this next Afro latin Funk music and dance retrospective is anything like it was last summer, it will be fun and sexy from start to finish.
Spread Love is a secret that must be shared. With music and dance styles that sizzle from Latin and Urban, to the best in soul and jazz, wrapped in a signature deejay set that only DJ Kemit and Mafioso can put together. This event is a spicy taste of life and a sight to be seen. Each song is felt and enjoyed. The room is full with dancers who carry such a presence of passion and freedom that you can’t help but fall in love – with everybody in the room. In the highest recommendation, it is a must do!
