KUCR and The Barn continue the Spring BARN Concert Series with NO AGE and special opener JAVELIN on Wednesday, April the 28th.
Originating from Los Angeles, Dean Spunt and Randy Randall, ex-members from the band Wives, created a new experimental lo-fi, drum-and-guitar duo, No Age. With only two records to date, the small group quickly captured their audience with catchy beats and harmonies straight out of the underground L.A. scene. The duo’s shows are constantly reaching new levels of entertainment and surpassing boundaries with their live performances. No Age has the ability to incorporate art into every aspect of their performances, all the way from their records to their shows, which always entertains audiences everywhere.
It was in 2004 that two cousins, Tom Van Boskirk and George Langford, started making music together in Brooklyn, New York, eventually creating a band called Javelin in 2005. This duo uses music originating from various backgrounds, from classical to dance to foreign, to put together their music in a whole new way that is practically unheard of. Javelin cuts and reworks every song to give each new song its own sound which gives them the perfect edge they want for their live performances.
Don’t miss NO AGE and special guests JAVELIN on Wednesday April 28th at 8:30PM brought to you by KUCR and The Barn. Doors open at 8PM, parking is $5, all ages, and free!
