Mufasa's death has become one of the most sad things to occur in a Disney film. It's by far the most shocking part of any family movie, perhaps second only to Bambi's mother dying.
On the 15th of June, 1994, Mufasa was murdered by Scar. It's only right that we take a moment of our time on the 16th anniversary of his death to remember the great lion he was.
