In addition to a rigorous solo dj schedule her most recent collaborative effort is the breakbeat monthly BROKE AS F**K, formerly (BROKE on Sundays) keeping the breakbeat vibe alive in Los Angeles since 2007 with the help of weekly headliners and special guests such as Simply Jeff, Reid Speed, Altern-8, Domenic B. of Stanton Warriors, General Midi, Plaza de Funk, Friction, Faust & Shortee, Future Funk Squad, APX-1 and many more in between.
Eva’s ongoing creative collaborative efforts also include extensive work with an all female roster of breakbeat divas: Bitches on the Switches & White on rice, divas. Her most successful pairing has been with Southern California electro bass pioneer Athena, together known as Kimchee Love.

Val Scinto (valscinto.com)
Valeria Scinto was born “with headphones” in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
At the age of five little Val was already fascinated by music and turntables. “I remember being about five years old and going to the living room, which was banned for my brother and I since that’s where my parents kept all their most precious ornaments. Well...the sound system was there as well. I was able to sneak in a couple of times until I finally figure out how to turn the system on and then finally be able to turn the turntable on. The turntable was so high up for me that I had to get on my tip toes, throw a record and then make it click somehow. Then place the needle on, like I learned from watching my parents and press all the buttons until i would see the turntable spinning. That was an extremely exciting moment for me. I used to spend many afternoons playing and dancing to records while both my parents were out working. The music they had was from the sixties and seventies. I especially enjoyed Abba and The Bolero of Ravel.
At around the age of seven I would listen to the radio all the time waiting until they played a song I liked and record it on tape. That way I started putting together my first collection of music that I used to play in my parties with a double tape player.
My brother’s two best friends were both Djs at clubs in Buenos Aires, The Roxy and Caix. Everyday after school my brother would stop by their places and take me with him, that’s where I experienced for the first time the art of Djing since they were always playing records and synths. Some nights, when my brother was babysitting me and he wanted to go out with his friends, he would take me out with him so I got to go to the clubs pretending I was the Dj’s sister and I would have to stay in the DJ booth at all times...it was incredible! (this things only happen in Argentina by the way hahaha!)
My Mom knew how passionate I was about Djing so she got me a pair of Technics 1200‘s turntables when I turned ten.
Val started her professional DJ career in Miami Beach in the year 2000 where she spun at the infamous Nerve Lounge after hours, she held a live radio show at TheWomb.com, performed with Danny Tenaglia and Tracy Young at the Miami Winter Music Conference in 2006, and played along Kimberly S. at Aquagirl 2007’s main event.
In California, where she has been residing for the past five years she spun at King King, EM Sundays at Joseph’s, Rage, Eleven, The Armorie (SF), The AC Lounge, The Porn Palace, The Custom Hotel for Deep Down Under Productions, The Good Hurt, Glow Bar, The Playboy Suite in Vegas, Area 33, her event “PUMP!” and held a three month residency at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
In Puerto Rico was the headliner for a Hypnotic liquor event at the newest and hippest hotel in the island, The Normandie Hotel, she played along Saint Barth’s Nikki Beach’s Resident DJs.
Valeria’s professional career has led her to become Executive Producer for Music Production. She and her team at Beacon Street Studios (John Nau from Hootie and the Blowfish and Andrew Feltenstein’s Music House in Venice Beach) won a Golden Addy Award for best original music production for a TV commercial for American Airlines and a Cannes Award for a Mini Cooper’s TV Spot. She has been part of music projects for Burger King, Mini Cooper, Honda, Toyota, Bank Of America, VW, The CW Network and many others. She is now the US Representative for
www.diegogrimblat.com, the most prestige music house for commercials in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In May 24th 2009 she launched “PUMP!” with her new venture “Aphrodisiac Events” which turned out to be a huge success.
After some recent professional training in electronic music production it’ll just be a matter of time that she will release an original track.
Her style is always evolving, it’s a mixture of Miami Style House (sexy, bouncy, vocal) and West Coast House (tech house and electronic) This fresh sounds come from: Tribal, Deep, Progressive, Vocal, Big Room, Tech House and Minimal. She will make you dance your shoes off, feel the sexiest you’ve ever felt and blow your mind with edgy, explosive sounds.
In her circle of friends and fans she is famous for her 12 hours or longer sets, taking listeners on those unforgettable journeys of different genres of dance music ranging from deep house all the way to techno. Also famous for her dancing acrobatics, and this is the reason why some people call her “Spiderwoman”.

J*Labs (*Nuts)
New to the game, J*Labs (Jackie Peters) only discovered her love for electronic music over the past couple of years and has only recently started DJ-ing. An expert multi-tasker, Jackie takes advantage of the countless hours she spends in front of her computer by devoting at least a portion of that time to scouring the web in search of beats to make the room bounce. She plays breaks with a sprinkling of electro house and an occasional hat tip to dubstep in the mix.
