Then from 10.30pm until very late, it's time for Panic! Tony the DJ will once again spin the very best Smiths + Morrissey tunes non-stop!

Morrissey related visuals and posters help to complete the atmosphere, and don't forget those who stay to the end of the night can help themselves to the Moz posters off the wall (but don't touch them before or the bouncers 'll have you!)

In February we got feedback such as "best night out in ages", "even better than [a certain other Smiths disco that modesty prevents us from mentioning!]" and "I haven't seen so many people having so much fun since Glasto!".

Despite the popular stereotype of Smiths + Moz tunes being depressing, the enlightened know that the tunes are generally bouncy and upbeat, and the lyrics wry and full of playful, intelligent humour! It really is the most fun you can have on a Friday night!

The next one isn't until October (subject to numbers) so whatever you do, don't miss this one!

Meanwhile, upstairs, "The Folk Upstairs" will return with laid back acoustic / folk / indie bands, for those that fancy a bit of a chill out.
