Hello All,
In conjunction with my employer, The Spastic Centre, and Inspired Adventures I am raising funds to help youth with Cerebral Palsy. It is the most common physical disability affecting Australian children with a child being born with Cerebral Palsy every 15 hours (The US stats are very similar). Cerebral Palsy is a permanent physical condition that affects movement and unfortunately has no known cure which is why we need all the support we can get.
By being involved in this challenge I will be part of a group of like-minded people who will be trekking up the summit of Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina, at 3,143m. After this we will have the uplifting and rewarding experience of a three day volunteer project visit to Thuy An, a centre that cares for children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, children who have been affected by Agent Orange and the elderly.
Just click (or copy and paste) link below to read more about the cause/event, as well as donate if you are inclined to do so!! Remember every dollar counts. Also all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
