Shipwrek makes music that, well, how can we put this? His music defies characterization. Beautiful, dirty, epic, and heartfelt are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind. Really, Shipwrek must be heard to be grokked. You can download his album for any price here:

Tinker has been producing original beats out of San Francisco since 2003 and has recently whet the appetites of the West coast music scene, by adding her tasty tinkerings to the roster of various parties and festivals. Using Ableton Live and recording and transforming original sound samples from her travels, her sound is beat driven, down to mid-tempo, experimental, glitchy, melodic, and above all tinkery! Along with performing her original tracks live, she enjoys DJing melodic downtempo, dubstep and glitchy mid-tempo breaks, as well as other transcendental sonic delights.

DJJD muses: "How can one not constantly be amazed by the energy of the people around us here? And I don’t mean any kind of abstract spirit energy either — I’m talking about the very real energy of action, attention, thought, evocation, creation and engagement. I believe our energy is simply 'how we are in the world.' What we offer, how we look and listen, and what we give back in response to others’ ways of being, is the total manifestation of our own energy. So, if I can express even some of the gratitude I feel in light of the staggering fortune of my own existence by putting energy into bringing sounds I love together with people i love, then I am luckier still."
