LAZER SWORD:
Lazer Sword is a San Francisco/Brooklyn-based live electronic act and production duo at the frontline of an emerging sound –a future music– fusing anything from rap, electro, house, disco, or even grime together to birth a raw and exciting listener experience. On stage, the group presents their material to the audience as a heavily improvised live production showdown, equally emphasizing the performance element and the dance club environment.
A result of their vast range of output and influences, (the two share a penchant for hip- hop, house, disco, garage, psychedelic rock, electro, early synthesizer music, and so on..), they’ve built themselves a reputation as a uniquely versatile act, sharing the stage with such acts as Flying Lotus, Mary Anne Hobbs, Hudson Mohawke, MSTRKRFT, Rustie, Plastician, The Cool Kids, and others.
