I'm riding my bicycle across the country, alone, from the Jacksonville Beach shore, to the California Pacific coast and LA. It will be about 2,700 miles long, and will take me about 35 days of riding. I'm not bringing much money for food and such, but I enjoy being self-sufficient. I love adventure, and this one has me more excited than I can explain.

As an english major and someone who aspires to be a writer, I want to take advantage of this potentially life-changing experience and the introspective opportunities it will offer, by documenting it all in my blog:

Hopefully the material will allow me to explore and advance myself as a communicator, and hopefully it'll become book-worthy if I choose to publish it. I really need feedback though, whether encouragement or constructive criticism. When I begin, the blog will be updated almost daily, with pictures, journals, and videos, so I encourage everyone to check it out, try to stay updated, and keep in touch with me. I'm also trying to use this ride to gain support for my friend Ryan Alexander's charity, www.NotFashionable.com. It's focuses on the massive amount of starving children, dying of hunger throughout the world. Ryan and I want to spread awareness of this cause, and do whatever we can to help the children. go check out the site!

Half of the proceeds from the shirts go to NotFashionable.com, and the other half go towards me paying for the shirts, and using whatever is left for food/supply money.
