The YWCA operates a confidential Safe House for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. The Adobe Program is a 2 year program that helps these survivors transition back into society using therapy, support groups, housing vouchers, school and career counseling. The YWCA also operates Sonoma County's only Therapeutic Preschool for children who have witnessed domestic violence, or have been identified as being at-risk of abuse or neglect by CPD. The YWCA also conducts a significant amount of school and community education and outreach."
