About:
We are having a fashion show with a combination of local fashion designers, artists and a respected venue, Mayes on Polk street. This fashion show will accomplish several goals.

First, to support a local non-profit group called Rocket Dog Rescue, www.rocketdogrescue.org. They are a rescue organization for dogs who are about to be put to sleep. The organization takes the dogs in, rehabilitates them physically, mentally, emotionally and finds families for them. They have saved over 7,500 dogs in their 8 years of business and 930 just last year!

Second, we want the local designers of San Francisco to have a place where they can represent their style in this ever growing and changing fashion industry.

Finally, we want The Avant- Gardist as San Francisco's premier street style local fashion blog. With your help we are firm believers that we will accomplish all these goals, continue to inspire people about fashion and style along with helping a kick ass organization. :)
