There are at least 50 millions orphans in Africa; in the last five years alone, over 1 billion dollars in foreign aid has been spent on this population, yet the international community is still struggling to deal with this mounting crisis. Addressing this enormous challenge is too much for any one organization to tackle alone.
This is why Goods for Good is hosting a forum with The Vice President of Malawi, The Right Honorable Joyce Banda, key NGOs and experts in the field to discuss the current situation and best way forward.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to collaborate for the advancement of Africa's next generation.
The evening will incIude:
- Keynote address from Vice President Banda
- Q & A discussion panel with experts such as Dr. Jane Aronson and Ann Veneman, former Executive Director of UNICEF
- Sneak preview of the documentary Moving Windmills, The William Kamkwamba Story
- VIP dinner with the Vice President and panelists
- Post-forum drinks at Amity Hall. Proceeds from drink sales will benefit G4G!
