Neumo's presents "Girls Just Want to Have Prom," an annual celebration of all things 80s featuring the Dudley Manlove Quartet with the Plan 9 Horns and special guest vocalist Kim Virant, plus DJ Donkey Don spinning dance hits from the Decade that Taste Forgot.

Each Spring DMQ blows up the balloons, rolls out the streamers, and cranks up the laser light show to create the ultimate prom experience for experienced promgoers. This year they’ll be spiking the musical punch like never before with New Wave and Big Hair hits from MTV’s glory days, including chart-toppers like Journey, Cyndi Lauper, Night Ranger, Madness, Pat Benatar, Bryan Adams, David Bowie, the Buggles, Wang Chung, Europe, Huey Lewis and the News, and Duran Duran.

This year’s prom will be bigger and better than ever as Neumo’s is transformed into a glittering prom palace complete with a prom portrait area and contests throughout the night. Dust off your best Molly Ringwald moves for an 80s Dance-Off, or compete in the hotly contested Ugliest Prom Dress and men's and women's Biggest Hair competitions (Costumes are encouraged, but strictly optional.) And of course, there won’t be a dry eye in the house as some lucky couple is crowned Prom King and Queen. Don’t worry: Even if you don’t arrive with your own king or queen, chances are you’ll find one there. All contest winners will receive Jillian's Billiards party-starter packages for 20 people.

Tickets are $15 advance/$17 at the door. Advance tickets are available at http://tiny.cc/scfqq and at Moe Bar (935 E Pike St.) from 3PM to 2AM daily.
