For those of you who don't know....

Camp Tipsy is a camping trip to the East Park Reservoir in Stonyford California. It's like car camping. There is no 'hook ups'. You camp right on the water. The surrounding country is quite surreal. Think Joshia Tree meets the playa meets Sherwood Forest. It makes little sense.

It's about boats. Shitty, terrible boats. You make your own boat. Or, muck about in one of ours. There are prizes awarded to the worst boats. Boats can be made out of cardboard. Sure they can. Really? Do you really not think you can make a boat out of cardboard in an hour? Really?

You could spend 500 hours looking at the boats.

You can build out of garbage cans, Pepsi bottles, Styrofoam, balloons or inflated garbage bags. We built a boat our of bike helmets. They float!

You bring food, we build a kitchen. We play guitars around the fire at night, we build boats and get sunburned during the day.

Lake Ladoga is in Stonyford, California. It's 110 miles north of SF. It take 2 hours and change to drive there.

It's a donation that you give to me for the infrastructure of the event, at your option. It's free camping and such. There is no Ranger or guard or whatever.

We usually spend 2 weeks up there. the weekend before and all week. We like it. It's HOT!!!!
