Back in January, a Facebook status update turned into an opportunity for myself and a some friends to help a mother rescue her 3 adopted children from Haiti after the earthquake - today it has turned into some much greater than we originally anticipated. Wolf Blitzer heard about the story and sent a crew out to Florida to talk with the mother after they returned home, it can be seen here. It’s an incredible story.

For the last few months my buddy Luis has been shooting a documentary on Haiti. During that time we’ve met some incredible people and have witnessed first hand Haitians helping Haitians. We are hosting a small fundraiser to help out some of the people we are featuring in the film.

Please join us this Thursday, June 10th, from 6:30-9:30 at Mr. Smith’s. We will have photos from our trip and show a short edit of the documentary. And we will have a donation station where if you feel inclined to, you can donate to the non-profit wehearyourvoice.org and your donation will go directly to the Haitians we are featuring in the documentary.
