There's nothing @dalelarson wants more than to be FIRST in line for the new iPhone being released on June 24. There's nothing @laurala wants more than to NOT cut their HONEYMOON short to get Dale there.
So what am I doing? I'm organizing a kickass luau-themed lineup outside the Apple store. Come get geeky - bring your iPads, laptops and other tech toys to the tent and have drinks by the light of the tiki torches.
For those of you who know Dale well, you know he's ALWAYS at the front of the line for new releases!
The benefit? Plenty of food foraged from Union Square eateries, a spot in line to get your own iPhone 4G, meeting all the cool people that come and go from the Apple store - maybe make a lifelong friend?

The Details:
Shifts will be in 2 hour blocks but you can sign up for consecutive shifts. I'll take the overnight shifts but welcome company!
Shifts will start at 6pm on June 22 and end when the doors open on June 24. If you're hoping to finagle a phone for yourself you'll want to be outside the Apple store at 6am for breakfast and your spot in line.
Dale will be joining us directly from the airport the evening of June 23rd and camping out til the big event. :)
