I'm turning old (30-something) this year and it coincides with Camp Tipsy. As a result, I'm inviting you to celebrate my Birthday, with cupcakes and champagne, in one of the best water based locations in California.

I went last year and had a blast. The water is like a bath tub. There will be a kitchen set up with a BBQ and various DIY boats to cruise around on.

Bring something to grill, drink and share. BYO everything except for stove and BBQ, that will already be set up.

It is fun. There will be kids, which make it all the merrier.

I'll be there in the early afternoon to set up my tent and organize my camping related things.

We will probably go on a sunset boat tour ~7pm or so. Come early so that you don't miss us before we depart. If you can't make it until later, that's fine. There will be plenty of fun around the camp fire and quiet late night swimming off the shore.

If you were on the fence about Camp Tipsy, I can't think of a better reason to make it out.

If you end up staying through the weekend, they ask that you give a donation. Whatever you feel comfortable giving. Or just drive up for the night and leave the next morning.

It is also the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. I wanted to do some sort of tribute, or just mention it in the announcement.
