B3Q 1 and 2 last summer were so much fun, we're doing it again!
Come celebrate July 4th with us on Jerry’s amazing deck. Biker ride at 2 and BBQ from 5:00 onward! The weather is warm and the view is awesome – we should be able to see fireworks across the Bay Area once the sun sets!
Children are welcome – but you may want to bring a kid leash, as the deck area is not very child-proof.
Mountain Biking:
Bikers depart at 2:30 -please plan on being at our place by 2:10 to prep for the ride. The trail is "moderate". If you are moderately in shape and have a mountain bike, you will do fine. Depending on the attendees, we may break into an advanced and intermediate group.
Bikers will return around 4:00 or so. Shower is available (and encouraged) upon return ;-)
Family nature hiking:
There is an awesome trail just down the hill from us, with a pond, occasional deer, and even a hidden tree swing. Great for families. Trailhead is at the corner of Lake road and Old Spanish trail. Feel free to park at our house to explore the area.
Bar-B-Q'ing
We'll start hanging on the deck at 5 or so, and the meat will be done by about 6:30. John and Katie take care of the main course (tenderloin! chicken! corn!) , but we'd appreciate if attendees bring something to share.. especially salads, dips, desserts, snacks, beers, wine etc..
Guests are welcome. We're excited to welcome a ton of friends from all stages of our life - geeks, jocks, nerds, VC's, entrepreneurs, doctors, politicians, and lawyers...
