Does paying $90 for "elite" social events with no air conditioning, a dearth of bathrooms, and rail liquor that runs out before the end of the evening leave you asking yourself, What kind of fool am I? Have you ever wondered, who needs Ol' Blue Eyes when we've got Ol' Glass Eye?
Well, the Embassy has asked these rhetorical questions, and we've realized that sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, where the air conditioning works and the drinks are made well. Sometimes you just want to celebrate another member of the Rat Pack.
And so, the Embassy is pleased to invite you to our first foray into counterprogramming: the Sammy Davis, Jr. Ball; or, the Glass Eye Gala.
We'll pregame the after parties on a Thursday night with live music and the Embassy Martini Bar. Attire should be 1960's Vegas Formal.
Bring a friend, bring an intern, schedule Friday off.
