On Monday, August 9th, please join Washington Nationals All-Star Ryan Zimmerman, his teammates, and other professional athletes and entertainers as Ryan launches the ziMS Foundation in the DC area.
It will be a once-in-a-lifetime evening at Nationals Stadium featuring performances by Amos Lee (opening act for Dave Matthews band this summer), Mutlu, and magician David Blaine. Nationals Stadium will be transformed into an intimate concert hall and tickets will be limited to the first 1,000 people. A special stage will be built on the outside concourse of the Presidents' Club with attendees sitting in the PNC Diamond Club seats.
This is the ziMS Foundation inaugural event in Washington and has already generated a lot of buzz and excitement. Ryan's mother Cheryl was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1995, and the ziMS Foundation is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis. Your support will help raise funds for a cure and awareness of MS. There are exciting plans to grow this event each year (as part of his contract, Ryan has use of Nats Stadium once a year).
