They will also speak about how Medrunners recently used Facebook to win an iPad via Heart of West Michigan United Way which they will be giving away in their own contest to raise money for their cause.
Daniel Estrada - Justin Amash for Congress
Daniel will be talking about how State Rep. Justin Amash has brought an unprecedented level of transparency to the political process through social media. Justin was the first legislator to post all of his votes on Facebook and engage his constituents online (see facebook.com/JustinAmash). His efforts have been covered in publications like Mashable, Reason.com, and Facebook's own U.S. Politics page. Justin has over 8,500 supporters on his Facebook page, the third most of any state-level elected official (after the Governor and Attorney General, who both hold statewide positions). Daniel Estrada will discuss Justin's success in building community online as both an elected official and a 2010 candidate for U.S. Congress.
Jennifer Vining & Jessica Jeurink - Rick Snyder for Governor
Jennifer and Jessica will address some of the ways a political campaign runs behind the scenes in regards to Social Media.
