This whole thing started because I had an idea to bring Helping Angels to San Francisco while I am here. I managed to convince Kenny Washington to say yes to an hour of jazz performance and that gave me the courage to identify that this project shall be for the visually impaired folks. I have always wanted to work with the blind and learn more about their disabilities, while I share what I learn. Lighthouse has been really warm and welcoming to my suggestions. As a token of appreciation for these special folks, Helping Angels is committed to bring a world class act to LightHouse's lunch room.

We aspire that the event will be a memory that will impact a beneficial imprint for all present. From my past experience, Kenny Washington can be rather jaw dropping. While I coordinate with Lighthouse I am also requesting a walk-through to understand the world from a blind person's perspective for all our highly able angel volunteers who attends this (who might take their sight for granted). Please feel free to share this with our like-minded peers. However, attendance of outsiders are limited, so please be mindful with your RSVP and be certain about your attendance to avoid being blacklisted from future events. We are making this an early evening program so the effort can benefit more people who has to work.

All volunteers can help with the administration/organizing and/or sponsor light refreshments for our audience - fit in where the need and creativity arise. Volunteers who are F&B business owners are welcomed to sponsor food items - it does not need to be an entire meal as this is a pre-dinner event.

Your participation in ideas and all forms of resourceful contribution will be greatly appreciated! If you are not in San Francisco and would like to give us some support, just invite friends who are near us to join Helping Angels and RSVP here.
