Thousands of fans will experience lacrosse played at the highest level when the San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic, a NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse event, returns to San Francisco’s Kezar Stadium on Saturday, October 16, 2010, after an outstanding inaugural event in 2009. Squaring off this year will be nationally-ranked lacrosse teams Johns Hopkins University and the University of Notre Dame. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation (BAYS). Tickets are on sale now at http://www.sflacrosse.com
Prior to the start of the competition on October 16, a free youth clinic and coaches clinic will be offered to a limited number of participants by the coaching staffs and student athletes from Johns Hopkins and Notre Dame.
100% of the proceeds of the event go to the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation to support innovative sports and education programs for low income kids in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area.
