Manolo Mendez was a founding member and the first Head Rider of the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte, Spain, one of Europe's four classical schools along with Saumur, the SRS and Lisbon. Manolo's trademark is his ability to produce supple, tension free, expressive horses from training to GP using soft, empathetic training methods. A piaffe, passage, pirrouette specialist both in-hand and under saddle, he is equally adept at instilling balance, suppleness and confidence in young horses.
