Folks,
I'd love to invite you to an exciting Fall weekend October 23 & 24. This is probably the next to last power of two birthday I'll have before I die, as I plan to make it to 64 but expire well before 128. Let's hang out in Marin and get to know each other and brainstorm and philosophize and play games and get drunk, shall we? Come drop by for any part of this you can.

Folks,
I'd love to invite you to an exciting Fall weekend October 23 & 24. This is probably the next to last power of two birthday I'll have before I die, as I plan to make it to 64 but expire well before 128. Let's hang out in Marin and get to know each other and brainstorm and philosophize and play games and get drunk, shall we? Come drop by for any part of this you can.
We have 24 bunks in a hostel available, and there are more spots at the hostel available (up to 60 more free bunks), so if the 24 we have reserved fill up, please book your own!
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR A BUNK SLOT NOW AT

If you can help out with food costs, it'd be great if you could PayPal $20 to david@weekly.org.
Executive Summary: Rodeo Beach Saturday @ 2pm or Mt. Tam Hike at Rock Spring Sunday at noon if you can't crash w/us in the hostel.
---------
FRIDAY:
Those of us staying at the hostel arrive between 7/8 pm for dinner, s'mores, scary stories and chilling in the hostel common room.
--------
SATURDAY:
We're still ironing out the details but breakfast will be at the hostel kitchen hosted by yours truly...eggs, toast, and bacon is very likely on the menu as well as green smoothies for those with a healthy bent.
Around 1 pm we'll start setting up for our big event -- we're taking over part of the Rodeo Beach (parking at Fort Cronkhite lot) for a food/game fest. Those of you who aren't staying with us at the hostel should plan to COME JOIN US around 2 pm on Saturday for the birthday festivities. (Food and games being played are still to be determined, but I've heard rumors of everything from a taco truck to a pizza oven wagon.)
At 8 pm we have a permit for a bonfire on the beach. Come hang out, drink hot cocoa, hot apple cider, or something a bit stronger and engage in the ritualistic burning of bad memories...or s'mores and the singing of Kumbaya...whatever floats your boat. Fire + good company = good times. Then head back to the hostel.
-------
SUNDAY:
Likely to be a lazy morning where we breakfast at the hostel kitchen and then go to hike on Mount Tam -- meet us at the Rcok Spring parking lot at noon if you'd like to hang out and see some lovely California scenery!
