SUMMARY:Read A Banned Book Week!
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, hundreds of individual school systems ban books that
 they think are too inappropriate to be in the classrooms and on
 the shelves in their library. Protests flood in every year for
 proposed books to be taken off the shelves because they are
 sexually explicit\, include mention of homosexuality\, or because
 they are too violent. By physically pulling the books off
 shelves\, it limits rights across the board. It limits our rights
 to read what we want\, and it essentially limits the first
 amendment right of freedom of expression. \n
 It is not right to pull books off the shelves. It does not
 perform the wanted outcome of keeping kids from reading them.
 When kids find out books are banned\, they do everything in their
 power to find a copy of that book\, and read it. Also\, it
 teaches children that as long as enough people protest\, the
 first amendment can be limited\, and freedoms of expression
 hugely limited. \n
 Banned Books are the best Books!\n
 In the week of September 25th\, lets all read one banned book in
 support of this cause! Lets do this\, and show our support of not
 limiting the first amendment!        \n
 Tell all of your friends! Spread the word! Get everyone to show
 their support!\n
