Shut up. Come out for the square of you. It's a Thursday. You'll be fine. Drinks are cheaper. And I promise it would be as good as a Saturday. If you were at my party last year and the year before, it'll be fun. I also got upstairs reserved with the couches ( see???)
There will be snacks. There is a dj spinning, and a dance floor.
Come.

Mona Nomura So confusing...well, Plancast is hiring so hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. Anyway, Happy Birthday, Bernadette! Nice to (kinda) meetcha. Didn't mean to uh, invite myself. Oops. #awkward

Peter Sauer Sorry guys, we just really love birthday celebrations and want everyone to feel special all the time. What's the harm in that? :D Kidding of course. Yes, this is definitely an issue that typically only happens with Facebook-imported events, as we use the event title from Facebook as the plan's "what" information on Plancast. In the handful of cases where we've seen this come up, it’s always been for birthday-related plans. We could perhaps replace phrases like "My birthday" with "[insert name of actual organizer's] birthday". It may not be perfect, but it could solve most of the cases. Any other suggestions would certainly be welcome! Sorry for the confusion!

Ben Metcalfe Hopefull Mark H or someone from PlanCast will be checking this out (I pointed them to it, and sorry to railroad a birthday listing into an interesting product development use case for future QA). Plan Cast guys: if your system remembers who is the owner of a listing, you need to persistently show it to provide context to an event OR if events are ownerless, make sure users state clearly in the listing who they are if they are going to put in abstract titles like "my birthday party" etc
Ben Metcalfe @Ben Parr, I can't even see Bernadette listed as attending... :P

Ben Metcalfe Oh my. Plan Cast is such epic fail with showing who an event owner is. When I checked this it had Chris S's avatar next to the title so assumed it was his.

Craig Glassner Would love to join you but I'm on the opposite coast that day. But I will certainly have a drink in your honor on Thursday.
