Please join us for the first event with MITCNC's Startup Engine Series. This ongoing series will focus on specific and actionable advice in a variety of spaces.
This particular panel will focus on mobile applications and will:
1. Discuss recent changes in the mobile application market.
· Apple’s licensing changes
· Google's focus on Android
· Mobile browsers are excellent browsers
· Changing usage patterns of mobile users
2. Speculate about the next 3-6 months.
· Will the Android market fragment?
· Will Apple continue its nearly uncontested domination?
· What about RIM, Microsoft?
3. Advise how attendees can/should get involved.
· iOS or Android? iOS and Android?
· App or HTML 5?
· Best toolkits?
· In-house, contractors or out-of-house development?
· Costs? Time to develop?
