Scrum Beyond Software Development is an Open Space event, held over one weekend. Typically, the agenda for Open Space is determined on the first day of the event by all the participants, and adapted as necessary over the course of the event. We are likely to follow this pattern, but will begin the dialog earlier.
On the Friday prior to the 2-day event a "Scrum Introduction" course will be held. This is recommended for those not yet familiar with Scrum, or only familar through reading books and articles. The workshop facilitator will provide an interactive exploratation of Scrum, guiding participants to a better appreciation of the values and principles that underlie the Scrum framework. Attending this session will help you get the most out of the 2-day Open Space event.
