On September 25, 2010, APEX will hold its annual awards dinner at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. Our theme this year is “Influence. Impact. Inspire.”
Our annual awards gala will celebrate APEX’s past and present accomplishments in helping to build tomorrow’s leaders in the APA professional community. We will also recognize prominent Asian Pacific Americans who are opening doors for more leaders
to rise. Last year, our headline honorees were Laura Ling and Euna Lee, two documentary filmakers who were imprisoned within North Korea after they attempted to film refugees along the border with China. Laura Ling and Euna Lee were pardoned and returned to the United States following an unannounced visit to North Korea by former US President Bill Clinton on August 4, 2009.
