Welcome back to MTUG! Now that everyone is back from holidays, we're starting the year by partnering with Dublin ALT.NET to focus on the Windows Phone 7 platform.

Windows Phone 7 is launching shortly, and it's a whole new ballgame. Learn how to build WP7 applications and games in Silverlight and XNA using free tools. Martha Rotter will introduce you to the new and unique platform while walking you through building phone applications and games from scratch using Visual Studio 2010 and Blend 4. We'll also cover the new Windows Phone Marketplace, how to deploy applications, and most importantly, how to start making money with Windows Phone 7 applications and games right away!

This is a 300-level talk and we'll have prizes and giveaways for both ALT.NET and MTUG Dublin members. We'll also talk about the Ireland and Northern Ireland app-building contest and lab days so that you can test and deploy your Windows Phone 7 applications.
