On Tuesday, September 28, 2010, Eric Finn Custom Clothiers and Becky's Fund will hold the Second Annual *Walk This Way* Charity Fashion Show to help Becky’s Fund fight against domestic violence.
Based upon the success of last year’s *Walk This Way,* this fall’s event is expected to again garner the support of the area’s social and philanthropic elites. In addition to Becky’s Fund’s generous sponsors such as Vitamin Water, MillerCoors, Popchips and Dr. Michael Gocke of Virginia Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery, the honorary committee includes some of the most respected leaders in the community; including D.C. Councilmembers Yvette Alexander, Jack Evans, and Harry Thomas, H.E. Abdulwahab Abdulla Al-Hajjri, Ambassador of Yemen; Mary Amons, “Labels for Love” founder and reality television star; Flavius Galiber of Northrop Grumman Corporation; and Juleanna Glover, founding principal of the Ashcroft Group, LLC.
A one-of-a-kind event, guests will enjoy an over-the-pool runway fashion show, along with complimentary cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. The event will feature a silent auction featuring luxurious items such as VIP tickets to nationally broadcast television shows such as the David Letterman Show and Live with Regis and Kelly, jewelry by local jeweler and artist, Melissa Lew, a painting by local artist, Maggie O’Neill, and airline tickets from OpenSkies. Our gracious sponsors include David Cronin with Republic National, Moses Sam of Kavenchy Spa Salon, Reese Gardner, Jordin's Paradise, Peacock Cafe, LaFleur Limo, Laura Mercier, Vetro, and Aesthetic Dental Spa.
