Let’s celebrate our trees…
Let’s take a week to remind ourselves of:
The leaves and flowers and fruits that change with the seasons and make our lives so full of delight, the insects and birds and animals that trees shelter, the many uses to which we put our trees, the 101 things that trees do for us, never asking for anything in return
Let’s celebrate the trees of our city with music, poetry, film, art, doing and discussing, walking, watching, planting and protecting…
Let’s also remember that our trees are under threat and need our active protection, advocacy and unflinching vigilance!
