Each year, business incubation practitioners and economic development professionals gather to explore strategies for entrepreneur support at NBIA’s International Conference on Business Incubation. Individuals participate in in-depth workshops, educational sessions, incubator tours and informal discussions. Through these training and networking opportunities, attendees learn about incubator sustainability, entrepreneur services, client funding options, industry best practices and more.
For those who are new to incubation, the conference provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of business incubation and interact with others in the industry. For advanced incubator managers, the conference provides a vehicle to meet up with old friends and take home new techniques to assist clients and run successful incubation programs.
Join NBIA in San Jose for the 2011 International Conference on Business Incubation, to be held April 10-13 at the Fairmont San Jose. Highlights of the 2011 conference include:
* More than 60 educational sessions that will offer tips and techniques to implement in your program
* Opening Reception: Sunday evening, pick up your registration materials, mingle with attendees, meet exhibitors, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks
* Tech Museum Reception: Monday evening, walk to the San Jose Tech Museum and enjoy time to explore the museum’s exhibits – and chat with colleagues
* Vendor Mixer: Meet NBIA’s sponsors and exhibitors and learn about the services they offer to make your job easier
