To kick-off the revolutionary new online gig-booking service Live&Loud, Oxford-based 5-piece The Scholars will be headlining an evening of fresh and vibrant music from some burgeoning new bands.

First up, London-based balladeer Jack Cheshire, playing a solo set, promises to introduce us to the beguiling artistry that has become synonymous with this incipient troubadour of the psychedelic-folk genre.

Second up, indie rockers IAM:YOURHERO will perform a set of primal, visceral, sonic energy that has already made quite an impact on the South Coast and their native Brighton.

Music by Kitt (Kitt Proudfoot) will be providing MC-ing and DJ-ing duties, having recently returned from a residency in Ibiza.

WHAT IS LIVE&LOUD?

Live&Loud is a groundbreaking new service from Livemusic.fm aimed at providing an easy way for bands to get gigs by booking available slots at local, small to medium sized venues, via an online booking system. As part of this service Live&Loud will be developing over a 100 new venues across the UK in the coming months.
