The Sonoma and Napa Facebook Wine Meet Up Groups are excited to announce our first joint event; where else but in Carneros, the AVA that spans both Counties. Adding to the excitement, the Ceja family has agreed to host us at their gorgeous Carneros ranch (not the Napa tasting room.)
We are super excited about this Thursday's meetup, we could hit 150-200 people. Some last minute informational items and requests:
- please RVSP for accurate headcount, and pre-purchase is highly encouraged to speed checkin.
- remember to dress warm for after hours, Carneros is windy.

The Ceja's are planning a true "fiesta" to celebrate Mexican Independence with:
- DJ Music with a real Mexican Theme
- Tostada Bar
- Napa V Sonoma on the 2 Bocce courts

This is a special fiesta for the Ceja’s as it’s the Bicentennial of Mexico's Independence from Spain! The Ceja’s are opening up the properties, kitchens and bottles to make for an event like no other.
Admission:
Entry is $10 (or $8.50 in advance) (100% to winery) and covers TWO glasses of wine & hand-made appetizers (Amelia is renowned for her food). Additional wine is available by the glass and bottle, aggressively priced for the evening. (See list below.)
Food that evening, prepared by the Ceja’s, will be a special Tostada bar, with hand-made tostadas, served with a choice of three toppings:
salmon ceviche, spicy eggplant salsa, chipotle infused flor de mayo beans garnished with Cotija cheese and chile de arbol olive oil salsa. Yum!

To save time, and a few $, you can preregister at Brown Paper Tickets. If you’re buying more than one ticket please specify the names of each person so we can your sign in ready name tag printed out etc.

Who Attends?
Join consumers, wine producers, media, and fun residents (or visitors) of Wine Country, for a social meeting. Many of us are Facebook friends who communicate regularly, but may have never met: let’s put the 'Social' in Social Media. (Non Facebook Users can of course attend!) We will work to try and help with car pooling or a van service on our individual pages, where desired.
Raffle, Winery Donations:
Wineries can bring physical items (like wine, merchandise) for the raffle. Donors get to present their wine (if wish) and present it (brief please!). Attendees who pre-register online receive an extra raffle ticket. The door prize raffle drawings for wine and other items at 7pm, so try to be there by then!

Please RSVP as best you can so we can have sufficient, glasses, food, soft drinks, etc. (We appreciate those of you on the east coast who RSVP “Yes” in spirit, but let’s try to keep it accurate. :) )
