We are very happy to announce that on September 13, Mark Horvath of InvisiblePeople.tv will be presenting at Social Medial Club Detroit.

Native of Los Angeles, Mark’s mission is bringing the spotlight and a voice to America’s homeless. Having spent many professional years behind the television, Mark is now going straight to the horse’s mouth, and inviting the homeless to share their story. With camera in hand, Mark captures unscripted and unedited stories that tug at the heart strings while also providing a much needed look at a demographic of people who go over looked.

In his words, the purpose of his efforts is to make the invisible visible.
Mark has graciously made time during his recent tour of the US to stop by Detroit and share his experiences.

This will certainly be a unique opportunity for our community and Detroit, and I encourage all of you to attend.

The Friendship Circle, who presented in July, will be hosting our event. So, please come out. This will be a great way to start off #SMCD - year two.
