Having being ensconced in Oxford Mississippi on and off for the last twelve months working on their debut album with world renowned producer Dennis Herring, Hoarsebox make an eagerly anticipated return to Whelan’s on 11th Nov to try out much of their new material to their home-based fans in advance of their debut album release early next year.
Herring, who has produced seminal albums from bands such as Modest Mouse, The Hives and Counting Crows to solo artists such as Ben Folds and Elvis Costello has had a significant impact on the music of the band, so expect some radical departures from the Hoarsebox of old.
One thing that certainly won’t be missing though, is the huge sense of fun and energy that the band always bring to their live shows. Not to be missed!!
