This fall, AFINGO.COM, the leading social-networking platform for the apparel manufacturing community, will offer over a thousand industry professionals the rare chance to interact with the leading minds of the fashion industry at its inaugural daylong “BEHIND THE SEAMS” Fashion Industry Forum.
Presented at Manhattan’s world-famous Fashion Institute of Technology, “Behind The Seams” taps 30 top designers, apparel manufacturing insiders, head buyers of top retail chains, editors, and celebrity tastemakers to offer wisdom, opinions, and tips to a diverse audience of fashion fans, press members, intrigued retailers, thriving professionals, students from all of Manhattan’s prestigious design schools, and many others looking for an edge as they climb the ladder of one of the world’s most glamorous and competitive industries. Exposing the birth of trends, the building of careers, and the tricks of marketing and networking, the eight-hour, five-panel event will wrap up with an intimate cocktail reception for speakers and select attendees.
Working in partnership with the internationally recognized MAGIC Marketplace and MAGIC Sourcing, AFINGO.COM will donate a portion of proceeds to the SAVE THE GARMENT DISTRICT organization to help preserve New York City’s vibrant, vital apparel production neighborhood and the business retail on it.
