This is the last call for getting discounted rates that were made possible by generous contributions by some KGP alumni. The rates go up if you register after midnight PT, Wednesday, September 8th. In-person registrations at the venue are available at the higher rates as well.

Dean of Alumni Affairs and International Relations, Amit Patra will be recognizing key contributions made by Prith Banerjee (’81, ECE), Senior Vice President, Research, and Director, HP Labs by awarding him with the ‘Distinguished Alumnus’ Award. Come join us celebrate the success of a fellow KPGian.

Summary of previous announcements:
• Instead of the standard lunch menu that we’ve been serving in the years past, we are trying out an all-you-can-eat dosa offering this year. There will be four types of dosas for lunch that can be made to order. There will be plenty of other snacks and drinks to choose from as well.
• In addition, Chinna Bodapalli (AE, '72), the recently appointed CEO of the newly created Institution Development Cell at KGP, will be flying in from Chicago for the picnic. He will be sharing his vision and plans for making KGP the leading academic and research institution in the world. Please come join us to learn what you can do to help him achieve the lofty goals set for our alma mater.
• There will be plenty of action for kids and the parents alike; with volleyball, soccer, and tug-of-war for the adults, and kid-specific entertainment for the younger members of the family.
