As darkness falls, mysteries and marvels await the brave at heart. For something wildly wicked is coming to the Muckenthaler! A haunting evening of amusement and delight will be held at the historic landmark villa for its Fourth Annual Moonlight Masquerade fundraiser, presented by Salon Lujon Day Spa and Colette’s Catering, on Sunday, October 24, at 5pm. Enjoy Colette’s extravagant catering, partake in the Costume Contest for a $1000 grand prize, and delve into some devilishly good fun!
Psychics, talented circus performers, a tarot card reader, and an abundance of masked guests will fill the pristine gardens, reminiscent of the grand parties hosted in the 1920s. While participating in a silent auction and opportunity drawing, guests can also enjoy live music, food, spirits and a no host bar. Rich with history and life, the Muckenthaler Villa hosts a surprising number of intriguing, unique apparitions! Costume suggested, masks will be available at the door, and a $1000 grand prize will be awarded to the best attire during our Costume Contest. Cost to attend the event is $75 and attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets can be purchased by phone or by website. Roam the grounds, soak up the mystery, and remember to keep an eye out for ghosts!
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Muckenthaler Cultural Center’s educational programs, which serve all of Orange County. For more information go to:
