Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not big into opera, but this event actually looks like fun. My room-mate will be having her birthday and she wants to get friends together for a free opera simulcast at AT&T Park. (See "Info" below for the details)
The plan:
- Arrive at our place: 255 King St Apt 1609 between 5 and 6pm. I know this is early, sorry! We'll have food and drinks :)
- Then we'll walk over to AT&T Park and put our blankets down on the lawn for the first-come first-served grass seating. My roommate wants to arrive early because it's first-come first-served. Once the field is full, the gates are CLOSED!
- Enjoy good music and even better company
- Either come back to Avalon for good times or bounce to a nearby bar, depending on what the birthday girl wants to do
Notes:
1. Bring a blanket to sit/lie on, and dress appropriately for being outdoors
2. Tickets are free, but you have to sign up online. I have 3 extra tickets but we won't run out if you print your own :)

3. RSVP appreciated.
Info:
This simulcast will be transmitted in 1920x1080 high definition (HD) to AT&T Park’s 103-feet wide Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision scoreboard—one of the highest quality outdoor scoreboards in the nation—live from the stage of the War Memorial Opera House. Concert quality audio combined with AT&T Park’s huge screen creates an unmatched operatic experience for attendees sitting in the stands and on the baseball field
