What: This year Frankie C. & Chris Ryan will be producing this year’s Mr. Gay New York pageant. This is a fantastic event which allows NYC's "It" men to compete for the title of New York Mr. Gay and then go on to compete for US Mr. Gay Pageant.

When: The event will be held at Elmo Lounge on Thursday, September 23rd from 8PM - 10PM.

Contestants will be judged on a number of things, including a very sexy swimsuit contest.

The winner of New York Mr. Gay will go on to compete in the US Mr. Gay Pageant giving the winner tremendous exposure internationally.

The US Mr. Gay Pageant brings together contestants representing the nation’s most prestigious cities, a wide variety of celebrity judges, performers, and hosts, as well as spectators from all around the country. A series of competitive categories and performances will culminate in the naming of the 2011 US Mr. Gay titleholder. The winner of this Competition will go on to compete as the US Delegate to the International Mr. Gay (IMG) Competition Grand Finale. The IMG Competition is the largest and oldest running international contest to select an ambassador or spokesman to support the mission of the sponsoring nonprofit Noble Beast Foundation.

In 2010, Philadelphia will host the US National competition on November 12 & 13th. Each city will send their delegate to Philadelphia to compete in the national event.
