Now in its 2nd year, BookCamp Vancouver is an annual unconference that brings publishers, educators, community builders and the tech community together – for free! – to explore the future of books and book-like technologies. Join us for a day of talking and doing. We’ll discuss digital publishing, digital reading experiences, the book's evolving role and how publishers can leverage themselves for success in the digital age. It’s open to anyone interested in the publishing industry. Last year's attendees came from all over Canada and from a variety of backgrounds, including authors, librarians, technologists, typographers, designers, developers, printers, booksellers, literary agents, and publishers. With how-to sessions, panel discussions and open conversations BookCamp is a chance for the community to share ideas and explore books, publishing and the future of reading.
