Come drink for the environment!
Global Music Project is producing a FREE event combining entertainment with environmental awareness. We've partnered with 350.org, Sierra Club, Fetchapon, Yelp, Sustainable Seattle, Team Up for Nonprofits, and others to bring you this special event.
10-10-10 is an international environmental work day “to build the green economy of the 21st century”, and Global Music Project will host the special “after party” event for Seattle. Come enjoy some mixing and mingling, entertainment, and lend your support by buying a drink and come help acknowledge and celebrate the day’s accomplishments of each of the work day groups.
At this special SUNDAY NIGHT event, participating non-profit organizations will be invited to voice their message and the event will be designed to educate the public about what they can do in their own lives about climate change. Live and recorded music from around the world will also be featured.
The event will take place between 7pm-10pm (or so) at Republiq (2946 1st Ave S), a large night club in the SODO district of Seattle. The club is a modern 8000 sq ft event venue with 40-foot ceilings, a 15-foot waterfall, a state-of-the-art sound system, VIP mezzanine, and a multiple television screen/projection system.
